Hailing from Kentucky USA, Nathan Salsburg is a Grammy nominated acoustic guitarist, record label boss and curator of the Alan Lomax archive. Musically Nathan has emerged from a venerable virtuosic tradition that includes the likes of John Fahey and Ry Cooder with his melodic, engaging finger-picked guitar compositions. With two solo albums on the No Quarter label (2011’s ‘Affirmed’ and last year’s ‘Hard For To Win And Can’t Be Won’) perfectly highlighting his songwriting skill, fans of the likes of James Blackshaw, Jack Rose and Glenn Jones will find plenty to love here.

He's been promoting regular shows in Brighton for the past three years working with artists such as Charlie Parr, The Electric Soft Parade, Alasdair Roberts and Meg Baird of Espers.
