Supporting The Graveyard Johnnys, The Devil Wrays are proving to be one of Brighton’s most active rockabilly outfits. They combine 50’s tempos with some British punk riffs, stuck together with pomade and a bit of swagger for good measure. Lyrics are playfully gloomy, as par the course for the genre. Reminiscent of Vince Ray’s Boneshakers, the quartet are sure to get the crowd going on what looks to be a pretty decent rockabilly night at the Hydrant.
