Supporting the honourable Norman Jay MBE as his Good Times sound system returns to the Concorde 2 are 10-piece funk, soul and breaks collective The Impellers. The group have played  live sessions for Craig Charles’ BBC Funk show and dates alongside the likes of The Herbaliser and Shuggie Otis, and have just released their third album ‘My Certainty’. With influences from Syl Johnson, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Ray Barretto and Sly & The Family Stone, ‘My Certainty’ builds on the Brighton band’s first two releases while maintaining the raw energy of their past work.
