Clashy, punchy glam rock band The Valentines take you back to the time when being a band was about getting together some good pals, bashing your instruments, swinging your hips and winking at the girls in the front row. Swaggering lyrics, lazy doo-wop backing vocals and rock guitars make for a good show. Tyrannosaurus Dead are also on the line-up, with a different take on what being a band’s all about: grungy, lo-fi riffs and the kind of vocal melody which could have put their poster on the walls of every 90s indie kid.
