Club Review: Trash Mondays

We knew Trash Mondays was pretty wild, but when Vice magazine starts raving about from up in London you know something special is going on. Admittedly some of their enthusiasm is from the amazing photos Sam Hiscox keeps sending them, but, Jesus, it’s like Sodom and Gomorrah in there. People are going crazy. Thousands of them. We’ve never seen so much fun crammed into one room before. What surprised us most was that we had the wrong idea that it was all about the cheap drinks – and, yeah, it’s a proper bargain night out – but actually the music is a whole world of ace. Herve clashes up against Florence who gets run down by Chase & Status. If you go we suggest phoning in sick before you leave – cos there’s no way you’re going to have a quiet night. On saying that it’s a long way from being all students here. Trash Mondays is probably the reason we’re in a recession right now. Oh well, small price to pay.
