One of the few traditional pubs on Brighton’s “world in one street”, Preston Street, Chequers has recently reopened after a full refurbishment. The cosy pub has a new programme of live music, stand up comedy and DJs, starting this month with the soul, funk and hip hop sounds of Ghetto Blaster on Fri 5th April, while their new kitchen offers take away and delivery service.
