Miniclick Pecha Kucha: Weds 9th May

May 9, 2012

Posted by James Kendall

We’re big fans of the Miniclick talks. Each month a photographer talks through their work in detail, but tonight is a little different. Pecha Kucha is, roughly, the Japanese term for chit-chat and this concept comes from that country. Each speaker – tonight from the talented MA photography students at Brighton University – gets to show up to 20 slides, with just 20 seconds per slide. It’s only four quid, and with 15 photographers presenting their work that makes it under 30p per talk, or one and a half pence per photo. A fast moving show of ideas. (JK)
