Public Service Broadcasting, Haunt, Tues 21st May

It is difficult to find other artists who do what Public Service Broadcasting duo J Willgoose and Wrigglesworth do. The clue is in their name as they splice in samples of public information broadcasts into various electronic styles. Post-punk guitars sit alongside synths and electro beats with the only vocals coming from samples they have lifted from sources like the BFI archives, such as the 1953 documentary that features at the core of single ‘Everest’.
