Source New Music is over, Spectrum begins

Although our SOURCE New Music shows at the Dome came to a close with February’s Chris T-T gig, the spirit lives on under the name Spectrum. The Dome have teamed up with our friends at Resident to continue promoting showcases of Brighton music, with Fear Of Men headlining the launch event on Tuesday 15th April, playing songs from their mesmerising dreampop debut ‘Loom’. The strong support bill comes from Abi Wade, Grasshopper and Grace Carter, with ticket prices frozen at a bargain £4. Like the Spectrum Facebook page for further updates.

Stuart Huggett grew up in Hastings, writing fanzines and blogs about the town’s underground music scene. He has been a regular contributor to SOURCE, NME, The Quietus and Bowlegs. His huge archive of magazines, flyers and vinyl is either an invaluable research tool or a bloody pain. He occasionally runs tinpot record label Dizzy Tiger, DJs sporadically and plays live even less.
