Despite being the debut of one of the most successful filmmakers of all time, George Lucas, you’d be forgiven if you hadn’t heard of the 70s sci-fi movie THX 1138. Nevertheless, it has achieved cult status while samples from the dialogue and soundtrack have been used by a host of influential electronic artists including Nine Inch Nails, UNKLE and Orbital. The live score will be performed by Asian Dub Foundation who are known for their brilliant live shows and their hybrid of politically charged dub, rock and reggae. Having already performed live soundtracks for La Haine and Battle Of Algiers the band and their music should perfectly complement this film about a starkly unbalanced future society.
