When The Wave Pictures visited the Green Door Store the other week, we suggested you “Catch them now before they go and release another album or two.” Well, guess what? They’ve done just that, teaming up again with former Herman Düne brother Stanley Brinks for ‘Gin’, a rousing album of alcohol-inspired songwriting, released the morning after this Albert show. Brinks and The Wave Pictures perform together tonight, with support from another of Brinks’ regular collaborators, Clemence Freschard. Trebles all round.
